Born and raised in Colombia, Edison De Impala is an International Development professional with 15+ years of technical and program management experience in the public and private sector. Edison has extensive field experience in several Latin American countries, previously serving as Director of Agricultural/Social Development Programs, Global Operations & Business Development, and Vice-President for Columbia Agrotec as well as Senior Consultant, Program Management for Global Development Alternative (GDA Consulting). Locally, Edison collaborated with the United Way of King and Snohomish County’s Free Tax Preparation Campaign as an Asset Specialist, worked as production manager for the Seattle Times, and as a lead financial counselor and manager for the Seattle Financial Empowerment Center -Neighborhood House. Edison is a certified financial counselor, bilingual/bicultural in Spanish, with a B.S. in Economics and a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics and Global Development. He is actively involved in advocacy and volunteering projects for persons with disabilities.
